Hearing Block 4 – Canberra
Hearing Block 4 for the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements was held in Canberra during the week commencing 21 September 2020.
During the course of the hearings, the Commission focused on the role of:
- national information systems and coordination
- a declaration of a national emergency
- a single resilience, relief and recovery agency within the Australian government
in ensuring Australia’s disaster coordination arrangements are the best they can be.
